The past couple of months have been a busy time for the Bridge Project.

Many of you came together a few weeks ago to celebrate the efforts of the businesses which have provided much needed resources and opportunities for the young people.

It's through the efforts of you, our supporters, that we can continue to inspire change; show support; deliver opportunities to learn; provide jobs and most importantly connect young people to their community.

To our partners old and new, thank you for your support. I look forward to our continued journey!

Regards Sherilyn Hanson.

2011 Bridge Project Breakfast

This year's Bridge Project Breakfast promised to excite and it didn't disappoint the 500+ people who attended on the 4th August.

Employers shared their experiences and leaders rallied their support. $100,000 in donations of cash, goods and services was raised and the Victorian Minister for Employment spoke about the real difference all involved are making in reducing youth recidivism.

Thank you to everyone who completed the UltraFeedback event survey. 85% of you said you will be back next year;
80% would like to support the Bridge Project in the next 12 months and 85% indicated that they are likely to recommend the Bridge Project to others.

"An excellent initiative, one that I would like to contribute more too" - Frank Ivancic - Truck Shine Melbourne

In partnership with Department of Corrections, The Bridge Project is expanding its work readiness and community connection program into the community for young offenders 18-25 on a corrections order in the community.

The 10 module program running over five weeks combines life skills, industry expertise and healthy exercise in a unique program being delivered at YMCA centres across the state.

The program kicked off this week at Casey ARC, RecWest Braybrook, Riverslide skate park, Bendigo YMCA and Ballarat YMCA.

More industry volunteers are needed to support this program.

Email us if you can spare one day a year to volunteer your business skills.
