Summer and the Festive Season is already turning out to be a busy time for Active Moreland facilities, and we are showing no signs of slowing down!
In this newsletter you'll find all of our exciting news this holiday season, such as the opening of all Active Moreland Outdoor Pools, Fawkner Leisure Centre's new gym makeover, Brunswick Baths redevelopment, Summer Fun Days and new membership entitlements for all members.
Active Moreland is a new vision established by Moreland City Council to get More people More active More often in a supportive community environment.

| Get MORE value and MORE access this summer.
Get your toes wet this summer with MORE value and MORE access for all Active Moreland Leisure Centre members.
As a Health Club member at Coburg Leisure Centre, Fawkner Leisure Centre or Brunswick Baths Gymnasium, you now have FULL access to all of Active Moreland Outdoor Pools as part of your current membership. This means you can unwind after a busy year in the summer sun or cool down by the water at Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool, Oak Park Leisure Centre and Pascoe Value Outdoor Pool.

Ride to Pool Day and more Summer Fun for Moreland
You haven't experienced Summer until you've experienced an Active Moreland Summer.
We have a jam packed schedule on offer this summer, including our annual 'Ride to Pool' day at Coburg Olympic Pool which will be held on Sunday 19th of Februrary from 11am to 6pm. Friends of Coburg Olympic Pool are once again iniviting everyone to peddle down to enjoy a day of live music, gold coin donation BBQ, kids aquatic activities and of course, valet bicycle parking!
Also on offer this summer are:
December:
- Oak Park Aquatic Centre will operate the Water Slide every Friday between 4pm to 6:30pm.
January:
- Rotating Family Fun Days across all Active Moreland Outdoor Pool facilities and Fawkner Leisure Centre every Sunday from 11am to 3pm. A range of activities will be provided for the whole family, including pool inflatable's, jumping castles, face painting, prizes and giveaways.
Feburary:
- 'Ride to Pool' day on Sunday the 19th of Feburary,
- Family Movie Nights on Saturday evenings (dates yet to be confirmed) at Oak Park Aquatic Centre and Fawkner Leisure Centre starting at 7:30pm.

Outdoor Pools Now Open
All Active Moreland Outdoor Pools; Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool, Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool, Fawkner Leisure Centre and Oak Park Aquatic Centre, are now opened - just in time for you to make a splash this summer.
The Outdoor Pools are jam packed with activities for the whole family and now as a Health Club member at one of our Leisure Centres, you have access to all three Outdoor Pools for free!
All facilities operate during the Summer period in accordance to Moreland City Council's hot/cold policy. For more information on School-Holiday Opening Hours, Christmas Opening Hours, Facilities and Moreland City Council's hot/cold policy please visit our Active Moreland Website.

A New Look for Fawkner
|

When you step into Fawkner Leisure Centre's Health Club, you won't even recognise the area!
This is because the Centre has recently undergone a complete make over to the Health Club layout, and now has a purpose-designed stretching area which allows members to stretch and warm up for their work outs in a more private environment.
Circuit classes will now with the cardio equipment being the new focal point as you enter the Health Club. We've reorganised the free weight area and have included small equipment to assist members with floor based exercises designed to improve core strength and balance.
The launch of the new look health club, coincides with the launch of our re-vamped Group Fitness Timetable aimed to provide members with the most effective and exciting programs possible.
Feedback so far has been positive, and Fawkner Leisure Centre would like to encourage all members to leave feedback at customer service with our amazing team.

Due to the redevelopment of Brunswick Baths, Active Moreland would like to offer Brunswick Baths Gymnasium members access to all Aquatic facilities across Active Moreland. This includes aquatic facilities available at Coburg Leisure Centre, Fawkner Leisure Centre, Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool, Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool and Oak Park Aquatic Centre. We're looking forward to seeing all Brunswick Baths Gymnasium members back in the water this summer!
